Reroll tokens

Upgrade components
Upgrade components are items that can be added to armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to give them an added bonus or other benefits, while they are being used. They can be acquired through crafting, bought from vendors and other players on the Trading Post, looted from enemies or containers, and from some quest rewards. The majority of upgrades require that the upgraded item be at a specific or higher level in order to be able to accept the component. Some have special cosmetic effects.
Gemstones and jewels are two different kinds of upgrade components. Gemstones are universal upgrades that can be put in any type of equipment, and are less expensive than other upgrade components. Alternatively, players can use the gear transfer feature to transfer the item upgrades from an older, low-level item to a better one in the same tier. This will let them upgrade their equipment more quickly, without wasting valuable materials. The item's level or quality will not be affected, so a player will not lose their progress should they decide later to roll it. To be able to take advantage of this feature, players must have an item in their inventory with an upgrade recipe that is compatible with the item they want to transfer.
